Vendors of the NW Garlic Festival That Did Not Happen

Here are our wonderful vendors and links to help you find them directly!

Information about the Unveiling of the 39th NW Garlic Festival Poster for the Festival That Did Not Happen will be updated here too.
But first a poem by local writer Jan Bono…with much thanks 🙂

To Our Garlic-Loving Friends:

We’re sorry we must cancel this year’s Fest,
A celebration of the bulb we all love best!
The average American eats two pounds a year.
But there aren’t any “AVERAGE” Americans here!
Related to onion, shallot, chive, and leek,
These tasty cloves help you function at your peak.
Garlic lowers blood pressure, and quells inflammation,
And as an antioxidant, it’s quite the sensation!
It can help you to keep your cholesterol numbers low,
And reduce blood clotting (in case you didn’t know).
Whether used medicinally, or as a cooking treat,
A spaghetti sauce without it, isn’t fit to eat!
It’s a fabulous seasoning, and tastes really great,
But if you have some yourself, please bring some for your date!
It’s fondly referred to as the Stinkin’ Rose,
A strong whiff of garlic will keep you on your toes.
This natural repellent keeps mosquitoes at bay,
And legend says vampires will also stay away.
So whether on toast, bruschetta, or tots,
Garlic’s the flavor we all love lots!
Now we’re planning to see you in 20-22
But meanwhile, there’s something we’d like you to do:
Your continued support, online or in store,
Keeps our vendors in business, when you’re wanting more!
So check out their links, and show them you care,
Do your holiday shopping, right there in your chair!
