We are a museum dedicated to exploring the fun and freedom of kite flying through the lens of science, art, history and culture. The museum’s exhibits and events introduce the kite as a multicultural art featured in celebrations, modern day design, pulling power and application to energy. We strive to create exhibits and educational materials that allow families, children, and adults of all ages to experience the wonder, joy, and awe inspired by kites and flight.
Hours:
Beginning Friday, March 19, through Sunday, April 18, we will be open 7 days/week, 11am until 4pm. We will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 4.
