PPR is 100% volunteer driven and focuses on coordination of community events to raise funds and provide much needed services. Our mission statement is: Reducing the consequences related to poverty on the Long Beach Peninsula through advocacy, awareness and action.
Peninsula Poverty Response (PPR) was founded in March of 2012 as a small group in a coffee shop that wanted to bring an end to the adverse results of poverty on the Long Beach Peninsula. PPR obtained its 501c3 status in late July of 2014. PPR has grown to a coalition encompassing many different groups
